Maurizio Sarri has lent his support to Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho insisting for more respect towards the Portuguese gaffer.
Chelsea are set to host United in a mouth watering fixture in the Premier League on Saturday. So far it has been a smoother run for the Blues as they are very well placed in the Premier League table contrary to Mourinho’s side who have had a difficult start to the current season.
Mourinho had been in the thick of criticism since the start of the season but the 3-2 victory against Newcastle United has offered a glimmer of hope for the Red Devils. With Mourinho set to be reunited with his former players this tie could play a huge role in dictating the title race as it seems.
Sarri praised his counterpart. “We are talking about a coach who has won everything.
“He has won everywhere, so I think that I have to respect him. But I think also, you all have to respect him.”
“They are a very strong team. Maybe player-by-player, they are the best team in the Premier League.
“At the moment I think City is better like a team. But player-by-player, they are really very strong.”
