Maurizio Sarri has claimed Eden Hazard can be the best player in the world if he continues to thrive for Chelsea.

The Belgian international had a rather slow start to the season following a gruesome World Cup campaign for Belgium. But the player has made it all count as he netted a deserving hat-trick against Cardiff City to top the goal scoring chart.

Cardiff took the lead through Sol Bamba and Chelsea took nearly 20 minutes to find the equalizer. Once they found the rhythm it was all about the Hazard show. The 25 year old was at his ruthless best as he single handedly guided his side to the top of the table.

There had been speculations regarding his long term future at the Stamford Bridge but the player seems to be enjoying his current spell under the new Italian manager.

Sarri said, “He can become maybe the best player in Europe in the next two years.

“He will improve by spending less time a long way away from goal.”

“We did not play very well in the first 15 minutes.

“We knew they were very dangerous from set-pieces, with long balls, but we played much better towards the end of the first half, and in the final half hour. Every day I think we need to improve – and we can.

“Of course, our results have been perfect, but we can do more with our performances. I think we are very dangerous going forward, but not so solid defensively.”
