Maurizio Sarri says Chelsea are ready to offer an “immediate” contract to talisman Eden Hazard.

However, the confirmation depends on the final decision to be taken by the Belgian superstar.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is confident that the club is on the verge of agreeing on a contract with their talismanic playmaker Eden Hazard. However, the confirmation will be depending on the player as the Blues wait for him to make the final decision regarding staying at the west London club or leaving it.

Reportedly, the player had earlier spoken about his desire to make a move to Real Madrid and has termed it as a “dream move”. The Blues will be hoping that the Belgian skipper’s decision will be in their favour and he will stay at Stamford Bridge for another few years after his contract gets over after June 2020.

Sarri said, “I want Eden here, of course.” He added, “But I want him here if he wants to stay here. The club is available to sign a new contract immediately, but it’s up to him if he wants to renew or not.”

The Italian manager, who took the charge of Chelsea last summer, has also said that negotiations are ongoing between the club and the player and he will be informed if there is any development. He said, “I know very well that there are discussions between the club and the manager of Eden every week, I think. So if there is something new, the club will call me immediately.”
