Roma are hoping to try and land the winger in January
Memphis Depay could be set to leave the Premier League in January, with Roma contemplating a move for him.
The Man United winger has struggled at Old Trafford since his move to the club and there are no signs that he will be given a chance for redemption under boss Jose Mourinho, who continues to leave the Netherlands man out of the United squad.
Depay will understandably want more gametime and reports today are claiming that Roma are willing to give it to him.
The Italian side are battling at the top end of the Serie A table and want to recruit well in January to try and topple Juventus to win the league themselves.
Cut-Price Deal
One of their main targets is now believed to be Depay, who could be available in a cut-price deal due to his lack of first-team action and with the fact he is not a key part of the Red Devils squad.
Roma aren’t the only side who have been interested in throwing Depay a lifeline though, with several other European sides all considering moves for the winger.
However, it is Roma who have the edge in the race for his signature and it means that we could soon be seeing the United man swapping Old Trafford for the Stadio Olimpico.
