PSV Eindhoven star, Memphis Depay, is ready to secure a Summer move to Manchester United and has reportedly told the Dutch club that he’s ready to move on.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford since last year, when Louis Van Gaal took over, but nothing formal materialised and the winger remained in his homeland with PSV.
However, after spending yet another season at Eindhoven, Depay is now ready to move on and is dreaming of a switch to Old Trafford, despite both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur also showing interest.
PSV’s CEO has already admitted that the club will listen to offers for the winger at the end of the season, but in recent reports, Van Gaal believes his side are in the drivers seat to sign the 21-year-old, who’s contract will expire in 18-months time.
Fuel was further added when Depay favourited a tweet on Twitter which came from a United fan who was desperate to see the Dutchman join The Red Devils.
The fan tweeted: ‘If Depay ends up at Liverpool, I’ll seriously consider ending my life’.
Depay favourited the tweet but has since removed it.
