Barcelona skipper Lionel Messi is in Barca’s squad for their Champions League clash on Tuesday. Messi sustained an arm injury during Barcelona’s match nearly two weeks back. Barcelona confirmed that Messi would miss three weeks of action. However, Messi returned to training with Barcelona a few days back. Even though he is in the squad, Messi does not have full medical clearance.
Barca have started their Champions League campaign in fine fashion, having won their first three games. They only need a draw to book their place in the knockout stages. Messi watched from the stands as Barcelona beat Inter in the home leg 10 days back.
Barcelona have done really well in Messi’s absence, having won the four matches that have followed. Currently, it seems that Barca may have to play most of the match without Messi as he may not start. However, there is a very good chance that the Argentine will come on as a substitute.
