Midfielder urges Arsene Wenger to spend big this summer
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been advised to spend big this summer by his star-man Mesut Ozil.
The Gunners are set to endure a trophy-less season for the first time in two years, with the club falling out of the Premier League title-race and also being eliminated from the FA Cup and the Champions League.
After failing to retain their FA Cup for a third year in a row, a portion of Arsenal fans have been calling for Wenger‘s head and are also worried that star players like Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will leave the club.
However, the duo are close to signing new deals at the Emirates Stadium and the German international has urged Wenger to spend big in the summer in order to strengthen the squad ahead of next season.
