Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is confident his Arsenal team will finish above both Manchester United and Liverpool in the table.
Despite going out of the Champions League in midweek, the German international believes Arsenal can build on their valiant performance in Monaco.
The Gunners went out on away goals despite winning 2-0 at Monaco’s Stade Louis II.
However, Ozil believes if Arsenal can play like they did in France on a consistent basis, they will have no problems finishing above their rivals in the Premier League.
The 26-year old said: “We dominated the whole game there and gave everything. We couldn’t find that last goal but we can be proud of ourselves.”
He also added: “We can be satisfied with that. We’ve got lots of important games coming up, especially in the FA Cup, where we’re in the semi-finals again.”
Arsenal currently sit in third place in the Premier League, one point ahead of fourth placed United and three points ahead of fifth placed Liverpool.
The Red Devils and the Reds meet at Anfield this Sunday, as the race for the Champions League begins to reach its climax.
