According to Rovers boss Darren Ferguson, Chelsea Midfielder Jordan Houghton has officially completed a loan move to Doncaster Rovers
Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson has confirmed the deal to bring Jordan Houghton back to the club from Chelsea is now done between the two clubs.
Houghton spent much of last season on loan away from Stamford Bridge playing 36 times for Doncaster including starting every league game until his injury in February
Ferguson has been monitoring Houghton`s recovery and has been keen to do a deal with the Premier League giants to bring him back to the club for a second spell, and the Doncaster boss says everything is now sorted for him to return.
“Houghton is all done,” Ferguson told BBC Radio Sheffield.
“It has just been agreed and it is all done.
“It won`t be completed until Wednesday but it has all been done, the paperwork has been completed and it will go to the Football League now so we are absolutely delighted.
“He will join us the week of the (Carabao) cup match.”
