Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is in the Midlands for talks with West Bromwich Albion.
The Scottish international has been the subject of much speculation in this transfer window, as he was linked with moves to West Ham, Valencia and West Brom.
However, he looks to be moving to the Baggies, as he is in talks with the club’s new manager Tony Pulis. Pulis has made no secret about signing the central midfielder in this window.
Fletcher could be the first of a trio of deadline day signings for West Brom, with Carlton Cole and Martin Olsson also discussing personal terms.
The 31-year old has scored 24 goals in 342 appearances during his time at Manchester United.
