AC Milan CEO Andriano Galliani has denied that Arsenal have made a bid for striker Mario Balotelli.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday ahead of Milan’s first pre-season friendly, he said that, despite there being reports that a ÂŁ15.8million fee had been agreed, that there had been no bid from the Gunners,

“We have not received any offer (for Balotelli) and at this time, there is nothing from Arsenal,” said the Milan chief.

Balotelli is currently on holiday in New York after the World Cup, but is expected to meet up with his Milan team mates some time soon for their USA tour early next week. Galliani also stated that Milan and Orlando City are still some way off negotiating a deal for forward Robinho.

“We are trying to arrange with him (Robinho) a similar path to Kaka, but we are still distant with Orlando City,” added Galliani. “Tomorrow morning (Monday), we will talk with him and his lawyer to find a solution.”

Galliani was asked about reported interest in Zenit St Petersburg defender Domenico Criscito and Torino winger Alessio Cerci.

He concluded by saying: “There is no news on Criscito. We have many defenders at the moment. Cerci is a Torino’s player.”
