Milan Lalkovic eyes the future

Milan Lalkovic was a key man for Walsall this week after helping his team earn a 2-0 League One win over Peterborough.

Lalkovic scored the first goal and set up the second for his team. After this performance, it has led to Lalkovic thinking about his future as his loan spell at Walsall ends in January.

“If I keep playing like this it will help my career,” said the 20-year-old.

“If I do well, there will be options. This is what I can do. I have to perform like this every week.”

It seems that Lalkovic will have three options in January. Return to Chelsea, return to Walsall or another loan spell at a higher standard club.

“There is still life after Chelsea,” added Lalkovic. “Other players have left there and done well.

“It’s up to me to keep doing this then I will move on. If I keep playing like that, then obviously I won’t be here.”
