Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has backed Cristiano Ronaldo to be a great success at the Italian club. Ronaldo joined the Bianconeri in the summer after leaving Real Madrid following a long and illustrious spell in the Spanish capital.
The Portuguese superstar is yet to find the net for Juventus but Pjanic thinks it’s only a matter of time before the 33 year old finds the net. Pjanic has found himself in the thick of things in the last few seasons as the Bosnian has established himself as one of the finest midfielders of the Serie-A.
The midfielder recently extended his stay at the Turin based club to 2023 and is going to play a pivotal role this season as Juventus is aiming for an eight straight Serie-A title.
In an interview with the club website, Pjanic has exclaimed his happiness. “We’ve signed Cristiano, and I have to say that he is such a strong player, we are all very happy to have him with us.
“He is a footballer who has proved to be the best in the world and we can only benefit from playing with him.
“We hope he’s enjoying life here, but talking to him made us all understand that we are very happy here.”
