Manchester United target Miranda is ready to leave Atletico Madrid and claims he is already in negotiations about a move away from the club.

The Brazilian defender has been praised numerous times after his stellar performances last season, where Atletico won La Liga ahead of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

He formed a strong partnership with Uruguayan Diego Godin, and the pair have both been linked with moves away this summer.

Atletico signed Miranda on a free from Brazilian club Sao Paulo in 2011, and immediately inserted a ÂŁ24.5m buy-out clause in the player’s contract to fend off interest from various teams.

However, the 29-year-old has now revealed that he wants to leave the Spanish club and believes that the buy-out clause should not prove to be a barrier between hi moving.

“I have received several offers and we are negotiating,” Miranda told Radio ESPN.

“I have offers from the Spanish and English leagues, and other competitions. My agent is currently in Europe, resolving my future. My buy-out clause with Atletico Madrid is 30m, but that is negotiable.”

This has now alerted the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, who are both reportedly watching how the sitatuon progresses.
