Salah, 22, joined the Blues from Swiss outift FC Basel for £11 million last January after impressing at his previous club.

Jose Mourinho beat several clubs including Liverpool for the Egyptian’s worthy signature, but the 22-year-old has struggled to find his place in Chelsea’s starting eleven, making only six starts for the Premier League outfit since his arrival almost one year ago.

The player’s lack of first team football has resulted in heavy speculation over his future, with Salah being linked with a January club to various clubs, with Serie A side Napoli and former club Basel looking to launch a bid in the upcoming transfer window.

But Jose Mourinho has spoken out about the rumours, claiming that Salah isn’t going anywhere and stating that the winger is firmly in his plans as his side continue in their pursuit to capture four trophies in the remainder of the current season.

Mourinho said: “Salah is a player we like, we trust and he’s part of our plans. He’s not going anywhere.

“Against Sporting Schurrle and Salah did well, the team did well and that was very nice for me.”

Chelsea are up against 18th-placed Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday after suffering their first loss of the season last week to Newcastle.
