Liverpool and Arsenal are both interested in the player since summer.

With losing Coutinho to Barcelona and Sanchez to either of the Manchester clubs, it seems both, Arsenal and Liverpool ave not given up their pursuit of  Thomas Lemar.

The 22-year-old is the 1st choice replacement for either of the clubs but Monaco have been reluctant to sell their star player. The club even said that they would not sell him in January.

However, Monaco boss, Leonardo Jardim admits he’s powerless to stop Thomas Lemar leaving the club this month because of the ‘crazy’ transfer market. He has admitted that Lemar could be gone this month.

“Things are as they are. The numbers today are incredibly big. Everything can change. The things I can say today are not true tomorrow ‘In the last two transfer windows, last summer and this winter, the numbers have gone up enormously.”

“I still want to keep Lemar. If I stay here for 10 years I want Lemar to stay with me for 10 years.”
