Alvaro Morata has said that he is going to miss Cesc Fabregas at Chelsea.

The veteran midfielder played his last match at Stamford Bridge in their FA Cup tie against Nottingham Forest.

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has said that he is going to miss Cesc Fabregas at Chelsea after the player made his final appearance for the Blues at Stamford Bridge during their FA Cup tie against Nottingham Forest. Morata posted an emotional message on his Instagram account bidding farewell to his compatriot and teammate at Chelsea Fabregas after it was confirmed that the veteran midfielder is set to depart the west London outfit after spending five years at the club.

In his post on the social media account, the Spanish striker said, “You don’t know how much I’m going to miss you!”

Morata added, “To you and your wonderful family, thank you for helping us in every way possible. Thank you for all the moments we’ve lived and good luck in everything that you do!”

Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard also took the opportunity to pay a heartfelt tribute to the 31-year-old midfield ace. He said, “In five years I can say that I was lucky to play with him.”

The former Arsenal and Barcelona ace is set to join Ligue 1 club AS Monaco in the coming days.
