The Colombian midfielder is said to be a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspurs in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the 26-year-old midfielder have been followed for some time now and Spurs could be set to make a move this summer.
Moratti said: “Guarin? He is a really good player and for that he is liked by others. Tottenham are really interested”
According to Sky sports it has been said that Anzhi Makhachkala, who was said to be interested has taken a step back from reports suggesting they are planning a summer bid.
Anzhi Makhachkala has posted on the club’s official website that: “Regarding the rumours on Fredy Guarin, we deny holding an interest in the player. These assumptions are without substance, as they also are about (Roberto Soldado) and (Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang). The Anzhi name is used to fuel talks and increase a player’s value.There aren’t any negotiations under way.”
