The Blues’ boss has his say on the title race

Jose Mourinho believes Arsenal and Manchester United should be considered as genuine title contenders alongside Manchester City.

Mourinho’s Chelsea side are top of the Premier League, six points clear of second placed Manchester City with a game in hand against bottom club Leicester City.

Despite this, the Blues’ boss believes it is now a four horse race for the Premier League crown. However, he would still like to bring the trophy back to West London to join the Capital One Cup they won in March.

He said: “It’s four teams now, you see the points difference and you have to say four.”

He also added: “It’s not five because there is a gap from fourth to fifth. With eight matches to play it is a difficult gap to close.”

Chelsea face Stoke City at Stamford Bridge this evening, live on Sky Sports’ Saturday Night Football (K.O. 5:30pm).
