Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal all interested

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has admitted that Morgan Schneiderlin could leave the club this Summer.

The Frenchman has been a long-term target of Arsenal, but in recent weeks both Manchester United and Chelsea have entered the race to sign the midfielder after yet another superb season for The Saints.

Schneiderlin was strongly expected to leave the club at the end of last season alongside several of his team-mates, but Koeman blocked his move, sparking the midfielder to tweet his anger.

He rocked The Saints by tweeting how his time and memories at the club had been ruined, however, he ended up staying at the club and has been in superb form this season.

However, with his strong form comes strong interest and a trio of Premier League giants are all circling him yet again and Koeman has now admitted that he could be off this time around.

Koeman said: “It will be hard when there is real interest in the player. It is up to the player what he likes to do.

“It is very hard but normally if we have the season like we have so far there will be interest in the players of Southampton.

“If he gets a big offer from a big team, there is always interest for the player and I understand that.

“That is normal, we know our level and that is a compliment for the players and the club.”
