Southampton star would prefer a move to London over Manchester
Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin would prefer a move to Arsenal over Manchester United, according to reports.
The Saints star has been strongly linked with a move away from St Marys stadium, but it was expected he’s join the Old Trafford side in a deal worth around £20million.
Midfielder Wants Arsenal
However, according to reports this morning, the Frenchman has informed his friends his desire to join Arsenal over United.
It’s reported that the Frenchman feels his play and style would suit better at the Emirates Stadium, due to their quick-flowing passing game.
Saints value the midfielder at around £25m, which is believed to be higher than both interested club’s valuations.
Formal Bid
According to Sky Sports News, United launched a £20m bid earlier this summer, but had it rejected and since then, they haven’t renewed their interest or made a new bid.
Schneiderlin has made his desires clear to play in the Champions League and is expected to leave Southampton this summer.
