Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho could make a shock return to Real Madrid according to his agent, Jorge Mendes.
Mendes, who is also a representative of Ballon D’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, has admitted that the 51 year-old could make a surprise return to the club which he departed in the summer of 2013 as he returned to Stamford Bridge.
The former Barcelona assistant took charge of Los Blancos in 2010 after guiding his former club Inter Milan to a treble.
After three largely unsuccessful years in Spain, where he could only guide the La Liga giants to one league title and one Copa del Rey triumph, he departed by mutual consent to rejoin the Blues, but now he could make another return, but this time back to Spain.
Mendes stated, “Mourinho’s return to Madrid? We must ask Florentino [Perez]. Mourinho is very happy at Chelsea and Perez is happy with Ancelotti. But that’s football and he could return to Real Madrid.”
