Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho walked out from the post-match press reference, demanding respect for his Premier League wins. Manchester United suffered a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur at home last evening. After a goalless first-half, Harry Kane broke the deadlock in the 50th minute before Lucas Moura added a second. Moura scored his second of the match in the 84th minute to wrap up an outstanding performance. This was the first time since 1992 that Manchester United lost two of their first three Premier League games.

During the press-conference, Mourinho defended his team and praised the supporters. Then, one journalist asked him about supporters leaving the ground soon after Tottenham scored their third goal. Mourinho replied, “What was the result? 3-0. Do you know what this means? 3-0, but also means three Premierships, and I won more Premierships alone, than the other 19 managers together. Three for me, and two for them.”

The Portuguese then stormed out while persistently telling “Respect.”

Manchester United are currently 13th in the Premier League table. Their next league fixture is against Burnley on Sunday.
