The Special One reportedly wants to sign Harry Kane if he takes over at Man United
Man United will try to sign Harry Kane this summer if Jose Mourinho becomes manager of the club, according to reports.
The Special One is currently not in charge of any team but he has been strongly linked with the hotseat at Old Trafford for quite some time now. It’s even been reported that he has already signed an agreement to become the next Red Devils boss at the end of the season.
If he does end up in charge of United, reports say he plans to overhaul the squad in a massive way. A lot of players will end up out of the exit door, while he’ll also be looking to improve each area of the squad with several signings.
Kane is main target
His main target is believed to be Harry Kane. The Tottenham striker has impressed since breaking into the side at White Hart Lane, becoming the club’s main source of goals. This year he has bagged 22 goals in 42 games in all competitions for Spurs.
Mourinho is a big fan of the England international and although it could take a HUGE bid to sign him – some reports are claiming Tottenham could want as much as £60m for the forward – the Special One would reportedly love to work with Kane at United if he was to take over.
