Real Madrid are plotting a summer bid for the 24-year old
Jose Mourinho has claimed it would cost Real Madrid £100m A LEG for Eden Hazard, according to the Express.
Last week, ex-player – and now manager of Real Madrid B – Zinedine Zidane tried to lure Eden Hazard to Madrid by using a charm offensive, ahead of a reported bid from the Spaniards in the summer.
Ancelotti is big Hazard fan
Carlo Ancelotti is well-known to be a big fan of the 24-year old and reports from Spain have suggested that he will make a huge bid for the player once the season is over. But what did Mourinho have to say on the matter?
Well, the Chelsea boss came back with a comment of his own, claiming that the price for Hazard would be a whopping £100m per leg! He said: “If they want him (Hazard) I think I would be the first to know because of my relationship with the president (Florentino Perez) and chief executive (Jose Sanchez).
“I trust them completely. If they want him, they will pick up the telephone and they call me.” When asked about the value of the Belgian winger, he laughed and claimed:
“£100m each leg because he is very young.”
It doesn’t look as if the Special One would be very happy to see the winger leave Stamford Bridge and therefore it could take some battling from Real Madrid if they want his signature this summer.
Hazard has been on fire for the Blues this season, helping them top the Premier League table and with just a few games left, the title is now theirs to lose.
