Jose Mourinho looking to replace Thomas Tuchel as Bayern Munich manager

As he looks to rebuild his new team, Fenerbahce, Jose Mourinho is expected to make bids on Chelsea players from his old club. A decade-long title drought for the Turkish giants has been attributed to Mourinho, who was introduced as their new manager on Sunday and signed a contract with Fenerbahce through 2026.

It’s clearly clear that the special manager needs to bolster his team this summer. According to rumours, after being named Fenerbahce’s new manager, Jose Mourinho has already selected a Chelsea player he wants to work with. Romelu Lukaku, Paulo Dybala, and Anderson Talisca are the players Mourinho is reportedly aiming to sign this summer, according to new information.

Mourinho is hoping to sign Romelu Lukaku at Fenerbahce

The report claims that Mourinho is considering a summer transfer for Lukaku in order to bolster his hitting unit. Lukaku has already played for three separate teams under Jose Mourinho: Chelsea, Manchester United, and Roma—the latter of which was on loan from the Blues this past season. The striker has made 47 appearances, scored 21 goals and dished out four assists, suggesting that their reunion has gone well.

With only two years remaining on his record-breaking Chelsea contract, signed upon his return to West London in 2021, the Belgian international has no plans to return to Stamford Bridge.

The 31-year-old is now expected to be within Fenerbahce’s budget after the Blues lowered their asking price to about £20 million. However, Napoli, who will soon hire Antonio Conte, who won Serie A with Lukaku at Inter Milan, is also interested in the player.
