Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane and plan on bidding £19m for the youngster next summer.
With John Terry coming to what looks to be the end of his career, Chelsea have looked to Varane as a replacement for the former England captain.
The Young Frenchman worked under Mourinho at Real Madrid and was also handed his debut by Mourinho. Chelsea believe the deal is possible as Varane is not first choice at Madrid due to the presence of fellow defenders Pepe and Sergio Ramos.
Real will be keen to hold on to the youngster but Chelsea are said to be heavily interested
