Tottenham Hotspur star to complete transfer in January

Moussa Dembele is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur in January after reportedly agreeing personal terms with Serie A side Napoli.

The Belgium has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane following Mauricio Pochettino‘s arrival two years ago, and he’s been linked with a move away since.

Chelsea, Sunderland and West Ham United have all been linked with him in recent seasons, but according to reports in Italy, the powerhouse midfielder has agreed personal terms with Napoli.

Personal Terms Agreed

Tuttosport have already agreed personal terms with the star and will now look to meet an agreeable fee with Spurs, believed to be around £10.3million.

The 28-year-old was linked with a shock move across London over the summer, with Jose Mourinho prepared to offer around ÂŁ12m for his services, but the move didn’t materialise and Dembele had to stay put in North London.

The Belgium has admitted a lack of fist-team football has made him want to quit the club sooner rather than later.

Dembele Disappointed

“I’ve played so few minutes, it is a big disappointment to me,” he said. “At one point I showed what I’ve got and I thought I took my chance, but as quickly again I fell out of the team.

“Do I get little credit at Tottenham? Yes, I have that feeling at times, but it is ultimately down to me. I have to stay positive. I am still confident.”
