Manchester United manager David Moyes is lining up a big summer move for highly rated Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann.
The Sociedad playmaker has scored 20 goals for the San Sebastian side this season, as Sociedad look to gain a Champions League place for next season.
Moyes has been a big fan of the winger, ever since Griezmann impressed against Manchester Ubnited in the Champions League earlier this season.
And the United manager went to Paris to watch Griezmann make his international debut for France, in the recent win against the Netherlands.
The winger is set to attract interest from some of europe’s biggest clubs this summer, after a superb season for Sociedad.
United scout David Friio reckons the 22-year-old can be a star of the World Cup. “Griezmann would bring something,” he said.
“His versatility and technique, in a tournament where space is limited, are real assets. You can’t score 15 goals in a great league without having real qualities.”
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has also expressed an interest in the Frenchman, with the Gunners lacking in a top quality winger.
The Arsenal boss has also had his scouts travel to Spain to watch the youngster, who is currently priced at around £20 million by his current employers.
