According to reports from French newspaper L’Equipe, Lyon captain Nabil Fekir will leave the club in the summer. Chelsea is reportedly eager to sign him as Maurizio Sarri would want to fortify his attack with the possibility of Eden Hazard leaving.

This summer, Fekir was on the brink of joining Liverpool before the deal was called off in the final hour due to a history of Fekir’s knee injuries.

Nabil Fekir has made 10 appearances for Lyon this season, scoring 4 goals and registering as many assists. He scored Lyon’s first goal in yesterday’s Champions League match against Hoffenheim. However, Lyon squandered a two-goal lead to draw the match 2-2.

Besides Chelsea, Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the 25-year old. Their wingers Arjen Robbben and Franck Ribery are both at the twilight of their respective careers. Hence, Fekir would be a suitable addition to Bayern’s setup.
