Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal, is ready to bid £30 million for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
Van Gaal was looking to use his Dutch connections to lure Nainggolan’s Roma teammate Kevin Strootman to Old Trafford.
However, Strootman has suffered a serious injury, and the Red Devils are now looking at Nainggolan to fill a gap in midfield that could potentially be left by Darren Fletcher.
It is believed the Belgian international could make the switch from Serie A to the Premier League in the final days of this transfer window.
The 26-year old has scored four goals in 27 appearances in all competitions for both club and country this campaign.
