The defender has attracted attention from European giants this season

Kalidou Koulibaly joined Napoli from Belgian side KRC Genk in the summer of 2014 for £7 million. He has made more than 160 appearances for the club, scoring eight goals in all competitions.

The 26 year old has been a key part for the club over the past three years, winning admirers all over Europe and establishing himself as one of the best centre-backs in the world. Since Maurizio Sarri took charge of the Partenopei, he has improved almost beyond recognition, especially from a technical point of view.

Ciucciarelli have been brilliant this season but missed out the Serie A title to Juventus by small margin. Sarri has been linked with a move away and if he leaves many players are also expected to join him, the Senegal International is one of the them.

Koulibaly has been linked heavily with a summer exit with many top European clubs keeping tabs on him and the Serie A giants are aware of this. They are keen to keep hold of their star player and are taking steps to ward off interest from other clubs.

Napoli have placed a €120 million price tag on defender Kalidou Koulibaly to deter Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United, reports Rai Sport, via Football Italia .

Chelsea have been a long time admirer of the defender and even tried to sign him last summer. The club are still interested in him and could move for him this summer, as they are looking to overhaul their squad this summer.

Jose Mourinho has prioritized signing a new defender this summer as he is not happy with his backline despite being the second best defensive team in the league. The Red Devils have been keeping tabs on Koulibaly ahead of the transfer window.

Real Madrid also wants to sign a new centre-back as they wants to strengthen their squad for the next season and could for the Napoli star.
