Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik was looted at gunpoint when he was returning home from the Stadio San Paolo following the Champions League victory over Liverpool.

Milik started the game and got substituted in the 68th minute. Napoli dominated the game fully but they had to wait till the 90th minute when Lorenzo Insigne pushed home Jose Callejon’s perfectly weighted cross to bring home a crucial three points.

The incident happened in the Varcaturo district region when Milik was driving his car towards his home when a motorbike blocked his path. Two unknown assailants came over to his car and asked him to hand over his valuables.

The 24 year old gave them his Rolex Daytona which is worth around £18,000. The two thieves then made their way without harming the player. Following the incident, Milik has sought the help of the police who has started their investigation.

This is not the first time as Lorenzo Insigne had faced similar incidents back in 2016 when he was returning home with his wife and friends. Marek Hamsik similarly was robbed in 2013.

The Polish striker who arrived in 2016 in the Naples didn’t have a sound sleep it seemed.
