Chelsea FC’s young starlet Nathan Ake has signed a new 5 year contract to remain with the club until the summer of 2018.
The Dutchman, who can play in the centre of defensive or midfield, broke into the first team squad last season finishing up with six appearances, while also being crowned Chelsea’s young player of the season for 2013.
Prior to joining Chelsea FC he was a member of the Feyenoord youth team, and previously the Ado Den Haag youth team. Nathan Ake is one of many bright young players who seem to be breaking their way into the Chelsea first team at the minute.
On signing on Ake has said:
“I‘m very happy that Chelsea is rewarding me with a new contract for my effort and development the last years. I would like to thank everybody at the club for everything they did for me. Thanks to them I have come so far. I won’t let them down and will keep on working as hard as I can.”
