Liverpool star Nathaniel Clyne has revealed that Sadio Mane is the fastest player at the club, but claims he and Alberto Moreno are not far behind the winger.
Mane, 24, has quickly become a fans favourite at Anfield following his £34million move from Southampton in the summer transfer window.
The Senegal international has bagged six goals in his first 11 games for the Merseyside club and scored a double in their 6-1 thrashing of Watford last weekend.
Clyne, 25, also made the switch from Southampton to Liverpool and although he claims himself and Alberto Moreno would come close in a race, he says Mane is the fastest.
“Me and him [Mane] in a race? That would be tough and a close one,” Clyne told Goal.
“I have to say, he is faster, definitely when he is on the ball anyway.
“The top three are Sadio, then me and then Alberto [Moreno].”
