Sven Ulreich has held Manuel Neuer at a higher regard than Marc Andre Ter Stegen.
Neuer is still the number one keeper for Germany while Ter Stegen has made his presence felt with stellar performances for Barcelona.
Bayern Munich second choice goalkeeper Sven Ulreich has said that Manuel Neuer is a better custodian than Marc Andre Ter Stegen. While Neuer is still kept his place as the number one keeper for the German national team, there has been a strong argument in favour of Ter Stegen to take over the number one position after his stellar performances for Barcelona in La Liga and the Champions League.
Ulreich said, “He is just a brilliant keeper, and I think it does the team good to have such an experienced player between the posts.”
On the other hand, Ter Stegen has also put up himself in the fight for positions in the national squad. He said, “I want to apply pressure, and I want to push through a change in the number one spot. I hope the manager puts his trust in me for important games.”
