New Arsenal signing Mesut Ozil believes the squad is good enough to mount a serious title challenge and could even go all the way and win the Premier League.
The Gunners smashed their transfer record fee when they signed the German international from Real Madrid on transfer deadline day for a whopping £42.3million and during his first official press conference with his new club, Ozil admitted that he thinks they should be considered serious contenders.
When asked about their chances, Ozil replied: “Of course.
“I know the team, I know that talent we have here and I think every player wants to be successful. It will be difficult because this is the strongest league in the world.”
