Newcastle poised to exploit financially troubled Malaga

Malaga finished 4th in the Spanish La Liga last season, qualifying for the Champions League. They were bank-rolled by the same company that has invested in other clubs such as Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City. But problems have arisen since the end of last season, with the club on the brink of being sold as financial cracks have begun to appear in the club.

With players such as Santi Cazorla on the brink of leaving, it now seems that another star name in Jeremy Toulalan is set to follow Cazorla to the Premier League, with Newcastle United showing the most interest in the french midfielder.

It will be interesting to see how the summer transfer window will really affect the Champions League new boys, with a set of big name clubs wanting to snatch the talent from the andalucian club for a bargain price fee.
