The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a summer exit

Neymar joined Paris Saint- Germain from Barcelona for a world record fee of €222 million in August. The Brazilian decided to leave the La Liga giants as he wanted to operate more independently than to stay in the shadow of Lionel Messi.

The 26 year old was in excellent form for the French giants, scoring 28 goals and assisting 16 from 30 appearances before suffering a foot injury. He went to Brazil for his recovery and has returned to Paris last week to begin his final recovery.

Despite just joining the Ligue 1 giant last year, the Brazil International continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid. According to reports, he is less than happy with life at Parc Des Princes.

Real are also expected to bolster their side this summer and could move for the Superstar if he decides to leave PSG at the end of the season.

Former Real Madrid star Paul Breitner believes that Neymar is headed for Spain this summer and he will be very important for the La Liga giant next season.

Breitner, who won two La Liga titles during his three years at the Santiago Bernabeu, told German television Sport 1, as quoted by Goal.com : “Neymar will be very important for Real Madrid next year.”
