Neymar joined Paris Saint- Germain form Barcelona for a world record fee of €222 million last August. The Brazilian joined the La Liga giants in 2013 and enjoyed a successful period their but decided to leave as he not wanted to stay in the shadow of Lionel Messi and wanted to operate more independently.
The 26 year old was in excellent form for the French giants, scoring 28 goals and assisting 16 from 30 appearances before suffering a foot injury. He went to Brazil for his recovery and has now returned to Paris this weekend to begin his final recovery phase from foot surgery.
But according to reports the Forward has been less than satisfied with life in Paris despite spending less than a year in the French Capital. He has been heavily linked with a move Real Madrid this summer as it is believed that he wants to play with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real Madrid are also expected to bolster their side this summer and could make a move for the Brazil International, if he decides to leave.
Former Barcelona midfielder Edmilson believes Neymar move to Real Madrid after World Cup is perfectly possible.
“I was surprised Neymar left Barca, but he and his team have their things,” Edmilson told El Larguero .
“I wouldn’t be too surprised if, after the World Cup, Neymar signs for Madrid.”
