Suarez made his Liverpool debut on 2 February against Stokes City which resulted in a 2-0 win for the Reds.  Suarez represented the Reds in 133 games and was 82 times on the scoring sheet.

He then joined the Spanish side Barcelona on a five-year contract for an undisclosed transfer fee. However the fee was £64.98 million (€82.3 million) which got disclosed through leaked documents from Football Leaks.
