Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain form Barcelona for a world record fee of €222 million last August. The Brazilian joined the La Liga giants in 2013 and enjoyed a successful period their but decided to leave as he wanted to operate more independently.
The 26 year old was in excellent form for the Ligue 1 giants, scoring 28 goals and assisting 16 from 30 appearances before suffering a foot injury. He went to Brazil for his recovery and returned to Paris last week to begin his final recovery.
But according to recent reports in France, the Forward has been less than satisfied with life in Paris despite spending less than a year in the French Capital. He has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, who have been interested in him for a long time.
La Liga giants are expected to bolster their side this summer and could move for the Brazil International if he decides to leave the Ligue 1 giants. Zinedine Zidane recently claimed that Neymar would be compatible with Cristiano Ronaldo and could play in the same team.
Brazilian icon Rivaldo believes that Neyamr will not win anything important if he stays at PSG and feels a switch away from France will be the right move for him.
“If Neymar doesn’t leave PSG he will never win anything important,” the 46-year-old told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Especially the Champions League, which is the most important competition.
“The French league is at a lower level compared to the Spanish and English leagues and he plays for a club without history.”
