According to the latest reports, Neymar’s father and lawyer will meet with Barcelona officials in Brazil to discuss a Camp Nou return.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move back to the Blaugrana for weeks now. He reportedly no longer wishes to be at Paris Saint-Germain after two seasons of failure in the Champions League.
PSG are agreeable on letting him walk out of the Parc des Princes but only for offers more than the €230 they originally paid for him. Neymar still has 3 more seasons left on his contract with the Ligue 1 giant.
Spanish news outlet, Esporte Interativo were the first ones to reveal that Neymar would be joining PSG two years ago. Now their own source claim that an official meeting is underway between the player’s representatives and Andre Cury.
The report also states that neither Philippe Coutinho nor Ousmane Dembele are involved in any exchange deals. But one can expect to see either of the two quit Barcelona this summer, if Neymar’s move ends up getting finalised.
Both of them arrived on record sums but neither of the two have been able to cement their spots in the Blaugrana first team under Ernesto Valverde. It would also raise complications of financial fair play to keep both of them while also dishing out such a huge fee for Neymar.
