Niang in loan talks with West Ham

West Ham are currently in talks over a loan deal for AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang. The deal would cost the Hammers £250.000.

The 19-year old was also chased by other Premier League teams in Everton, Arsenal and Tottenham 18 months ago when he played for Caen. But after joining Milan and becoming the San Siro club’s second youngest scorer in history, he was shipped off to Montpellier on loan in January after a dip in form and disastrous season for the Italian side.

He returned at the end of the season with a suspended jail term for his involvement in a hit-and-run accident earlier on this year. Now, West Ham are willing to give him a chance and take him on loan next season. They would have to pay AC Milan £250,000 for the deal to happen and if he impresses, there would be a fee of £4m to make the move permanent.
