Nolito could snub Barcelona to make the move to Arsenal, according to the Metro.
The forward is wanted by both the Gunners and Barca but with the Catalan giants also keen to sign Ezequiel Lavezzi and with the club currently under a transfer embargo, it has complicated matters and it looks unlikely he will make the move to La Liga.
Instead, he could be making the move to the Emirates Stadium next summer.
Prefers a move to the Emirates
The player himself would reportedly prefer a move to Arsenal over Barca anyway and he is aware of interest from the Premier League side for him. Arsene Wenger is already plotting a move for the Celta Vigo man and a deal seems likely.
However, if a move did happen, it would only happen next summer. This is because Nolito has claimed that he wants to see oput the season with his current club and then see what happens.
