The shortlist for October’s Manager of the Month has been revealed and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has a chance of winning the award for the second month in a row.
The Gunners boss picked up the award for September as well as Aaron Ramsey picking up the Player of the Month award, and after yet another successful month, the Frenchman has been shortlisted once again for the gong.
Despite just winning three out of their six games in October, Arsenal are currently sitting on top of the Premier League as well as their Champions League group and are looking a real threat for silverware this season.
As well as Wenger, Liverpool’s Brendan Rodgers has also been shortlisted after he helped guide Liverpool to two wins from three games, including a 4-1 thrashing of West Bromwich Albion.
The Reds are currently sitting in third behind Chelsea and Arsenal after they lost 2-0 to The Gunners last weekend.
The other two nominees are Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino who have also has successful months for Chelsea and Southampton respectively.
Mourinho has helped guide The Blues to six wins from six, whilst The Saints have picked up two wins and a draw. The draw coming at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
