Martin Odegaard is set to deal a blow to Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool by signing for Manchester United.
15-year-old Odegaard, regarded as one of the hottest young prospects in world football, has been compared to Barcelona and Spain legend Andres Iniesta.
He currently plies his trade for Norwegian side Stromsgodset, and he has already made a couple of appearances for the Norway national side, making his debut in August this year against the UAE.
Real Madrid earlier this week claimed to have signed Odegaard, but it is thought he prefers a move to the Premier League over La Liga.
He has undergone a trial at Liverpool, but despite interest also coming from Arsenal and Chelsea, it appears that he is heading to United instead.
Odegaard has won praise from international team-mate Morten Gamst Pedersen, who has called him the most talented player he had ever seen.
