Back in 2008, Dimitar Berbatov cost Manchester United £30m and today he has left the Manchester club to join London side, Fulham, for just £4m after signing a two year deal at the club.
Berbatov fell massively out of favour at Old Trafford after signings of Javier Hernandez a couple of seasons ago and the improvement of Danny Welbeck. The signing of Robin Van Persie this summer, all but sealed his departure from Manchester United.
It has been speculated the last couple of days that he would be a Fulham man, but concerns were raised today when no-one actually knew where Berbatov was. This lead to a trend on the social media site Twitter, #FindBerbatov.
Dimitar Berbatov will now join Fulham after spending four years at Old Trafford making 108 appearances and scoring 48 goals.
