La Liga official transfers

VĂctor Camarasa (loan, from Real Betis to Alaves)

Crystal Palace have ended Spanish midfielder Victor Camarasa’s short loan spell and he has joined La Liga side Deportivo Alaves, the club has announced. Camarasa who joined Palace for a loan, struggled to make an impact in the team after making one appearance in the Premier League and came off the bench in the side’s 4-0 defeat by Tottenham when he only featured for five minutes.

The 25-year-old was expected to remain at Selhurst Park until the summer after joining on a season-long loan in August, but he struggled for game time under manager Roy Hodgson. Camarasa was recently absent with a calf strain but has now joined La Liga side Alaves on loan until the end of the season.

Bundesliga official transfers

Nathaniel Phillips (loan, from Lvierpool to Stuttgart)

Liverpool youngster Nathaniel Phillips has returned to German side Stuttgart on loan until the end of the season. Phillips had been with the Mercedes-Benz-Arena side at the start of the campaign but returned to Anfield earlier this month to take part in Liverpool’s FA Cup third round clash with Everton.

But following that win, the club have opted to allow the 22-year-old to go back to Die Roten until May. An official statement from Liverpool read: “Nathaniel Phillips has returned to Stuttgart on loan until the end of the season. The Liverpool centre-back initially joined the German side on a temporary basis in August; however, he was recalled to the Reds at the start of January.”

Eredivisie official transfers

Jeroen Zoet (loan, from PSV to Utrecht)

Zoet has officially left PSV on loan to join another Eredivisie side, Utrecht. Having started his career at PSV Eindhoven, Zoet previously played two seasons on loan for Waalwijk before returning to PSV to establish himself as the first choice goalkeeper.

He has been highly regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the Eredivisie. However, he has fallen down the pecking order this season as coach Ernest Faber prefers Lars Unnerstall over the Dutch international.

George Thomas (loan, from Leicester City to ADO Den Haag)

Without getting much game time at Leicester City, the British club saw it fit to let George Thomas leave and have loaned him to ADO Den Haag. The English side has confirmed the move, as Thomas didn’t have get much playing time. Due to this, the club decided that he could start a new loan with the aim of getting some game time and experience in other teams.

So far this season, the 22-year-old footballer played with the Under 21’s and Under 23’s, but did not get the chance to star with the first team.
