Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has played down fears that his injury sustained during Saturday’s victory over Sunderland could keep him out for a few weeks.
The Frenchman was substituted late on after going down after a tough challenge from a Sunderland defender and after the game Arsene Wenger admitted that the injury could be a massive blow to The Gunners.
However, Giroud took to social networking site Twitter to reassure fans that his knee is okay.
The striker tweeted: ‘My knee is ok don’t worry! Thanks for your support’.
The former-Montpellier striker has been in superb form for Arsenal so far this season, scoring four goals from four Premier League games.
